A humble and diligent worker off the field, Anthony Bell Jr. is quietly building himself into a receiver to watch. He arrived at Missouri State stepping into one of the most talented receiver rooms in the program, and used his redshirt true freshman season to sharpen his game behind the scenes, earning offensive scout team player of the week honors twice along the way.

Now heading into his redshirt freshman season, AJ isn’t just biding his time — he’s a year further along and ready to show it. His release, his route running, and the “pure hands” every coach he’s ever had has raved about are all sharper, and Springfield is about to find out.

Before he ever stepped on a college field, AJ was already turning heads at Paulding County High (Dallas, GA), earning 6A all-state and all-region honors and a spot among the top 15 receivers in the classification.
